LOL Nice work. Most of the gladiators were slaves, but plenty were convicted criminals or people who piissed off someone in power.

Not real sure about the GTS badges, I'm sure he bought it as a GTS monaro, as it has GTS everywhere on it, but then i got told GTS monaro's only had 327? and 350's in them.

It pretty sure it has the HG bonnet and grill on it. Dad has changed it a bit, went from a 186s motor with the 4speed opal box to a 253 V8 and 4 speed kingswood? box. It's been garaged under covered for the last 21-22years, with no gearbox and the engine just sitting in their engine bay, which he swaps between his HZ one tonner ute.

When he gets around to restoring it, it will get a fresh 253 V8 and celica 5spd. His not worried about it being original etc. He just loves the colour and look of it

Meanwhile, as I gear up for a carless stretch, unless I see a Lib GT/3.0R with a decent face, I'd say I'll be stepping into one of these;

It's the baby of the 6-cylinder 3-series, the 323i (this one is M-Sport Edition), but it's in Nick's price range. I could go for a same yr 320i for about $5-$7k less, but I want the inline N52 powah! And I have time on my side, so hopefully the 06/07 models have depreciated a bit by the time I need/want a car again.

That being said, if i do find a good enough gen IV that's been worked a tad, I might just have to buy it, because as we all know this PWNS a stock H6 lib in the entire package side of things, but Subaru owners aren't as bigger douches as Beemer owners. I would give my first born for a 335i/xi, with the twin scroll single, but alas 6-figure cars aren't in the books at the moment, and plus insurance companies would want my second born. And you don't want to know the things I'd do for an M3....things that can't be unseen.

One of my boss's has both a new M3 (2 door) and the wifes car is a 4 door 335. The 335 feels quicker.

The new ones (2010) are single N55's Joshy, the ones of that year pictured are twin N54's, i'm aiming for an 06/07 but N/a with the N52.

And fast the 335's are Tom, too fast, and too exxy for me. I'm stuck in 323/325 land.

And as for M3's, the E46 is my fave, the new ones are sex, but the E46 just nails the Euro/Muscle car vibe, it's not a sleek Ferrari or Lambo, it's a flat nosed beast of a Beemer.
