Yawn.
Very underwhelming.
RichJosh,
Have you actually driven or driven in any high-end cars?
Or just sat in them?

But I was talking about the look of the car.
It is plain and boring and the F430 has the worst sounding engine ever invented when not sitting on redline.

Dont you buy one purely so you can sit on redline though?

A 360 convertible went past at lunch yesterday and I thought it was a V6 Commo with an exhaust.
But you're right, at redline or on the track they sound nice.

I'm a grumpy old Outback driver today. Flat battery + crap Vodafone reception will do that too ya...
How do you tell whether your alternator is the problem? Charge rate on the battery is 14.xx so that's okay isn't it?

Sounds about right brew. You don't want it too high and obviously you don't want it to low.How do you tell whether your alternator is the problem? Charge rate on the battery is 14.xx so that's okay isn't it?
Check the output of the battery with the engine off, and then check it with the engine running - should have an increase of a couple of volts. (using a multi-meter BTW)
The regulator on the old Corolla's alternator fagged out and it was over-charging at about 15.5, was wreaking havoc with the electricals, ended up killing some fuses and burned out the ignition module.
Luckily it was all a relatively easy fix.
