One-77. $2M USD, and using Volvo s80 indicator stalks... No. Just no. Amazing car, but the execution of the interior is so bad.

Good stuff mate, I know you've been a bit of a wedding planner these past few weeks aye...

I am loving this weather!! Went out last night and it was a beautiful temp. Perfect for beer :D

Oh yeh, I was going to get around to organising that. Was thinking of just keeping this small and social. Maybe BBQ afterwards or something. SubyClub only preferably. We got enough nice cars within our small club, I guess its just a question of availability of members.

Sounds great Shiv. I am trying to get ahold of the car care products guys to organise a day too.

I think when they did this cut and shut they forgot that the front half of a
B4 includes two turbos! :dash2:

Just drove down to coffs harbour again lads, really gave the edfc a good testing. When its on the soft setting. feels like it really does have more of a floaty feeling over the bumps, a lot less jarring. then as soon as the twisties come up. set it to firm and away she goes. made 300 kms from half a tank, not bad considering it does 380 a tank city driving. felt like i was in the movie "duel" at one moment just before grafton, one truck driver decided to run me off the road with a last moment overtake when i had about 100 metres of the lane left with no room on the side of the road.. but unlike the movie where the victim cant get away from the crazy truckie, the wonderful contraption called a turbo helped me out :) Saw a couple nice rexies on the way down, along with a gen 3 white rx that had a lil play past tweed heads, no club stickers though :(

Harsh, but fair?

http://www.themotorr...el-on-freeways/

Discuss.

THE NEW ZEALAND Police Force has asked the New Zealand Transport Agency to explore options for issuing fines to motorists who run of fuel on Auckland’s freeways.

Citing stranded vehicles, blocked lanes and their impact on traffic congestion, Inspector Dave Walker said drivers running out of fuel on stretches of road with no emergency lane are putting other motorists at risk.

Police are seeking approval of a law similar to the NZ$250 fine for walking on a city freeway, and the transport agency is investigating the feasibility of a bylaw which would make it an offence to run out of fuel anywhere on Auckland’s 72.7km freeway network.

Im pretty sure it was australian, but a motorist ran out of fuel on a bridge and was fined by police for that. Was on one of those police reality tv shows.
I totally agree though, you have a fuel gauge, use it.

But speaking of running out of fuel on a bridge, fatcat has a funny story about runing out of fuel during peak hour on a bridge... had to roll backwards to get a fair distance to get out of the way. haha.

How often do they run out of fuel? You don't need insurance to drive in NZ and all the cars are completely crap. You don't see hotted up JDM yumcha everywhere, most cars are blowing smoke pieces of crap. Maybe, they should implement mandatory insurance before worrying about something as stupid as this.

hahaha but remember they not only get all the manufacturers new products they also get all the grey imports from everywere in the world.... probably mostly stuff that no one wants. Cars depreciate a lot harder in NZ then they do AUS.
