F40, a classic nowdays.I remember when they were released!Would you believe I chased one here in Melb? More than twenty years ago? In my '78 Falcon coupe? My mate in the passenger seat didn't believe a F40 passed us the other way, so to prove him wrong I did a U turn and took off after it. After a couple of minutes the driver (sitting on the left) realised he was being followed by a couple of bogans in a hotted up Ford, and took off.I never saw it again.Unless it was the one at the Philip Is Historic race this year?
That really is a cool and funny story. I've never seen one in the wild, only at car shows/museums.
Good vid, but does anyone else think that maybe Ferrari are taking the driver aids a little bit to far in their new cars. Its getting a little like playstation driving.
I'm not sure. I see what you are saying, but it really is still the same thinking as it's always been, people want to have their latest F1 technology in the road car that they buy from F. The 458 probably has more than any other Fcar. Also, a lot of people with a boatload of money cannot drive, you can't buy natural talent, so a driveable super car is becoming very demanded - that's half the reason I think the Gallardo from L has done so well.
Might want to start a poll.Red I reckon
Can never have too many poll threads.
