Jesus! Decent chunk of meat! So I went and test drove a new Forester today, and I think i'm goanna get it. Was just a 2.5 n/a MT...pretty slow but its only for work. Seems (from the sticker) to do pretty decent fuel consumption. $33k for the base model, and they're doing some 'Columbia pack' or some shit where they throw in free alloys, roof racks and rear bumper protector (stop shit scraping the bumper near the boot). It's so weird driving a car that's so high up, being used to the Lib and all...

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Yeah I wasn't dead set on a Foz when I went there, I was also considering a stocky 'Prez but they're just too god damn ugly. I'd rather pay the extra and get a Foz, which I actually quite like the look of. I was quite suprised how lazy the salesman was. He just took a copy of my license, threw me the keys and said "take it for a good drive, make sure you like it". Ended up taking it for about a 30/45 min drive around...just to 'test'. It's nice, and handles better than I would have thought such a tall car would.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

What dealer?

you know I know peeps?

Just went to Melville.

I didn't really need a salesman, i'd already settled on a Suby. They were ok though.

I think leasing is out of the question, I might just buy the bastard outright and chuck it on top of my newly acquired mortgage.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Leasing will not get you the 50%, but buying outright under an ABN will. Don't be crazy bro, Kevin is giving away stupid money, us youngins will be paying it back forever so GRAB A FUCKING SLICE!

It's a work car, but I get paid from work back weekly per km I do in my pay. The finance dude said the only way I can lease it is if the company buy's it, and I make repayments. *cough* if you answered your pm's, I would have talked to you about it... :P

Nah you can't lease it and get the money back, but if you are buying the car then you will be eligible for the 50%!!!!! I don't know where my PM's are on here?!?! Fuck the finance dude BTW!

Good point. I'll just buy the bastard. Click your username in the very top right, dropdown menu has your PM's in it.

Man, should have seen the skanks last night at Britney. I had the absolute pleasure of getting stuck in the carpark for 1.5 hours picking up Rach aftwards. I just hope the ones I was checking out were legal, cos honestly - you couldn't tell unless you asked for ID. Dresses that short should be illegal for non-paying public.

Hmm, ok here's a general question for the General thread... Why is it do you think, Subaru have persisted with TMIC instead of following the Evo thinking and going FMIC?

Can you put it in point form instead of numbering? The numbering system hurts my eyes. Gawd, Rach is a classy lass. Drinking Malibu/Pineapple juice/lemonade (whatever that drink is called) out of a Pint glass. Heh. All class.
