It's always fucked when you get out of the taxi and the driver slugs you 7 extra bucks coz you went over a damn bridge.

I had one the other night, the fare was $20.75 (3am on the way home from the city) i wanted to pay with card, and he put $24.50 in the eftpos machine! Bastard, So i snapped him and stole his taxi...

I live in WA, where we have no toll roads at all. I was referring to my lovely time in Melbourne - which I love - but that's where I got stung. In my younger days I would've jumped ship like the chef on the Titanic, but me and the girl were getting dropped at a swanky hotel, and the old geezer in top hat at the door said it was a standard fare. We came over a bridge to get to Southbank?

Yeah that's always been the plan I think. If anything I reckon it'll make the traffic better. The toll plaza is a big contention point in the mornings!

I think making the Harbour Bridge cashless has made it a bit quicker. But stupidly, because the government places too much historical significance on the toll boothes themselves, they won't actually remove them so it still slows down traffic to an extent. Hopefully they physically remove the toll boothes and increase the speed limit there.

My sister's did the exact same thing last weekend, it died for about 4 hours then just magically came to life.

The funniest part of it all, we both had a go at pressing the power button and the menu button etc, then she lol'd and spoke into it the microphone saying 'ON' and it fucking booted straight up.

yeah it's a shame really. as alex has said previously, it's a shame as it has the potential to be a really great site. they should have left it how it was in the first place as it was fine then. every update etc since then has lost them members good for suby club though

Apart from the layout, speed, structure, etc. issues. For me the most frustrating thing is the amount of technical knowledge that is buried under all that rubbish. I would like to think that most of it could end up here. We have the people with the experence and know how, but at present it does not exist as posts.
Maybe with time?????????
