A mate at work is building (or has been building for the past 8 years) a '33 Ford Coupe with a 500+ (8.2L) Chev crate motor in it

Sounds like a 502. ('33 Ford would be sweet, but needs a Ford engine IMO)

I know you can get kits and special blocks to take the Windsor out to nearly 500ci, maybe even more.

It's one mean Chev powered Ford, Going to be a show car with the greatest attention to details (will have mirrors under it etc.) I would hate to think how many thousands he has spent on it, Everything custom and chromed.

I laughed the other day when i chop chopped a 5.7 hemi SRT8.
V8's are nice, but overrated.
I like my Legacy cos it handles around corners, not just goes in a straight line.
