I know that guy. Used to play soccer with him and his brother.
It is a very tidy car and has been for sale for AAAGES! Looks like you've already figured out why!!

Shame it isn't an Outback otherwise you could've bought it :P Heheheh...

Oh and I was searching CarPoint and stumbled upon this RX with the same wheels as yours^:

I'm really liking those wheels since you got them on your gen2. Maybe if I didn't have the B4 wheels, I'd go for those gen4 rims instead....

Fuck, they aren't the same are they! I didn't know there was a 6 and a 7-spoke version. Both look good, but I prefer the ones Morgan's have after checking out a couple images. Either ways good...

If I were in the market for one, I'd consider it. Its all in the details - the straight bodywork, the original floor mats (rare) + the relatively low mileage and manual gearbox. Heck its even got the original head unit. This car is in really clean original condition and chances are its been cared for. I wouldn't mind paying that bit extra to get something already in good nick.

And besides - asking prices are exactly that. It doesn't mean you have to settle for it.

edit - BTW, its not about the headunit or the floor mats...I'm just using those items to say that this car is in really original condition which says a lot about the rest of the car and how its been treated...

haha i know what you mean. Most likely had 1-2 owners, possibly middle aged, and taken pride in their car.

So was having a dig around as much as i can at work (We block alot of stuff but i have managed to slip subyclub through the nets :P)
looking through here and looking on the interwebs gives me conflicting information. is the Gen2 Series 2 (i.e. 98) lib OBD2? or SSM1 ?

I have been noticing a bit of hestitation at 2.8k - 3k and want to get some logging going on so i wanted to either buy a OBD2 cable or make up a SSM cable.

My cars history is as follows: Car purchased from Gosford Subaru in 1999 by middle aged man. He then sold it to his nephew in 2001, who I bought it off via his fathers car dealership in 2006 (so I got a 3-month warranty). What about the rest of you? Let me guess, all "1-owner, middle ages mature female driver" cars :P
