Oh and I just got Monsoon's in the mail
Funny thing is all the wet weather has gone
Monsoons are overated, My Gen2 came with them, Took them off, Snapped them in half, and binned them the 2nd day i got the car
They look much to grandpa-ish
If only i knew back then what they are worth

I don't actually like the look of them that much but I prefer being able to crack the windows when wet. Does it even rain in Adelaide?Monsoons are overated, My Gen2 came with them, Took them off, Snapped them in half, and binned them the 2nd day i got the car

BTW your car looked really good, why'd ya get rid of it!!

Never.Does it even rain in Adelaide?
I also liked it, as it was my first car,BTW your car looked really good, why'd ya get rid of it!!
I got rid of it because it had done ~260,000k's (although the paint was amazing)
and it was overheating every now and again (possible head gasket issue?)
Also wanted some tarbo goodness (now i know what a turbo feels like i wouldnt mind a EJ25 NA again)

Fair enough, I guess it would've gotten to the point where it would cost too much to keep running, so I think you got rid of it at the right time.I also liked it, as it was my first car,

Mines still young (157K) and its been overall very reliable for me and cheap to run, so great for my P-plate years.
And I like the EJ25 even if mines an auto and even if it doesn't have a whole lot of power. Its actually good fun to drive by squeezing power out of it. Especially around 3.5K on when it gets this little burp of torque to help overtake.

how much did you sell it for waltzie?
Man its low!
Bought it for 8k sold it for 8k a year and a bit later
(was stock when i bought it though)
The lowness was quite a bumpy ride (probably ended up fucking the shocks) lowest part underneath was 8cm's off the ground.

I don't know how you guys can drive autos haha I would get so bored (unless it had a bazillion kilowatts)
I used to launch my Gen 2 from 5k in the wet for lols, Was awesome fun and nothing broke and it spun all 4's quite easily, unlike the Gen 3 which seems so fragile

I'd prefer a manual but not by that much TBH. For me, my car is very much an urban/city run-about so the auto makes sense, in a "I'm lazy" sort of wayI don't know how you guys can drive autos haha I would get so bored (unless it had a bazillion kilowatts)

When I sell the Suby and get myself a real sports car, (or maybe a second car), then I'd be up for a manual.
My car refuses to spin its wheels...unless its on mud or sand
