Just got back from a 200 odd kms round trip from the Hunter Valley.
Picked out the cars for the wedding.
Yes we're going with the Austins but they are really nice cars.
The Bentleys/Roll's were a bit out of our price range and were clearly not looked after as well as the others - dents in bumpers, imperfections were too obvious in body work and paint, matted paint, faded roof, interior imperfections as well, etc. I guess with a 60 year old car you cant aviod that but the others are immaculate :)
We're happy with the decision.

Good job on doing the leg work and going to check everything out. Marriage is something you only want to do a few times, so best to get some good contacts from the first one! Just kidding! :D

I know I piss and moan about work a lot of the time, but damn I have it sweet. Just took an hour for lunch and cooked up a big bangin' baguette - the knife is the largest knife in my 12 stack... just for scale.

Went down a treat. Could've done with a beer though...!

Just came home from summernats. First time i've been and will most likely be the last. Lots of big cubed blown V8's with lumpy cams, nice sounds and they even looked mint but you get tired of them doing laps chirping the 3000 inch wide tubs. Couple of tits were shown, mostly by bush pigs with the odd nice girl. Got a laugh out of the bogans, sitting in grandstand the watching burnout comp. A bogan behind us told his wife to 'sit down and fuck up' after she only brought back 2 drinks for him. He was calling his <10yr old son a 'farkin soft cock' for being a holden fan lol. He was missing his front row of teeth which made it even more funny/sad. I'm now going to go blow the dust out of my nose and put moisturizer on my toasted neck. Maybe have a shower to wash the rubber off my arms.

Haha sounds like quite an experience Pete. Guess we can have a quiet chuckle about it to ourselves but its quite sad really because that kid will grow up to be just like his old man

NSW Police advertisement when RBT's were first introduced:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jLHGDYiT64

... and how it is today:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdsSU4w6_b8

How things have changed !

How come your taking it off Dyl? Just wanting a change?

Nah mate, I wouldn't go near Nightshades with a 10ft pole! Just had to clear it off some tails :D

That 1983 advert is funny, its as if the police were involved in customer service or something :sarcastic: But isn't it weird how in that second clip, the man jumps into his gen3 only for it to become a gen2 by the end of the commercial? Well thats what I see anyways...

That's because they wouldn't pull over respectful, law abiding Gen3 owners. That '83 ad is awesome. They should just re run that. Bugger rehashing it or anything. The aviator style sunnies on the cop when he's looking at the little girl are just absolutely amazing, and I need a pair.
