Any/much damage Ty?

We had upto 10cm hail at our place!

i was working on the car, trying to swap the cat pipe over then it started getting real windy, i thought we were just going to get some rain so i dropped the bonnet and got the tools away, then i was looking to the west cause i could hear this strange sound... i thought oh shit its a big gust of wind, it was screaming i cant describe the sound!
it was the hail ripping through trees and roofs! it started hammering the car.

got in and tried to start it but the airbox was off so it wouldn't run, just put it in 1st and cranked it till i was sitting next to the house under the most shaded spot we have. grabbed the big lounge room rug (about an inch thick) and threw that over the car and some boxes over what ever i could.

my car is ok thankfully, the gen1 took a bit of a pelting still need to get all the debris off it and see what its like but it was behind a wall of trees out front also so should be minimal if any damage.. a few suburbs over a few mates have had their cars Destroyed...

they describe their cars as golfballs now, smashed windows, dents on all panels, basically writeoffs
while i was getting the car in, Sam got hit pretty badly on the back, she is a bit bruised.

I can not describe it, in about 8 minutes the trampoline was a few inches deep with hail. they are expecting more also! so everyone should be watching out on here http://www.bom.gov.a.../IDV65752.shtml

And to think, i was going to be camping along the coast this weekend!

i made up a shelter for the car, hopefully there is no more hail though!, doesnt look as bad as yesterday though... but then again they only updated BOM with an immediate warning 5 minutes after it bloody hit yesterday.
