I rekon the Outback stockers look allrite. They look purposeful. This rainy weather really is something. Had to drive through some pretty serious flash flooding to get home yesterday. I love driving a Subaru in wet weather...you feel so much faster than other cars :D

can be interesting at times... like this arvo. All 4 wheels spinning and sliding across lanes. Thankfully there was no one near me

my car is forever spinning in the wet, I don't trust it at all. Tyres are at the end of their life though, replacement soon.... Guys what tyres are you using for relatively cheap (250 - 300 Retail each)

Yea! I love it too. Ive tried to get the OBK to slide around a bit (i want to know the limits) and i just cant! The thing is just solid :)
Though may have something to do with the lack of power too...:s
Different story when i get in the boats at work! Sliding around everywhere :P

Great turn/response, but not the most grippy (although in the wet or dry they're very similar). KU31's I had originally were better, but completely shithouse in the wet. The p7's were not my first preference but I could not get anything else at the time without spending ~$450 each tyre or waiting ~6 weeks for something from the US of A

I had RE001's and then I got the KU31's Richo speaks of and all I can say is - you get what you pay for. The Potenzas are superior in pretty much every single aspect. That said; the difference in price between the two tyre is not matched by a level increase in performance. You pay for the brand.

I'd be inclined to get myself another set of Bridgestones next time around. Or even the Dunlops...I hear one of their tyres is receiving much praise.

I didz it
Were all at about 20psi so took a slow trip to the servo. 36 all round and they are feeling gewd.

I never heard of the rear ones before but they are brand new. Fronts are a decent set of Micho's.

I think i found the extent of the damage from when i hit the roo a few weeks back too!
Dented centre cap! Pushed out and fixed :) (they didnt fit into the stock ones so have to put up with old paint chipped ones now!)

I rekon your car actually looks better with tall profile tyres! Somehow they just suit it more, IMO.

Fo sure! There was a crazy big gap with the 45 profile. I like simple spokes though. Not a dinnerplate rim kinda guy... :P

Yeh fair enough, perhaps the newer style gen4/5 Outback rims would be a suitable purchase next time. So can you like glide over speed bumps now? :P

I think i need to take this back to my OHS committee at work and show them how proactive ive been yea i glide over everything now! Roads here on the coast are pretty shocking and i could feel everything on the 45s. These ones are so much more comfortable :)
