Sorry, I have to knock you off your high horse hereso, yes... i'm quite happy with my turbo beating NA...
as a comparison, there were rexxies there last night with TBEs and front mounts and such who were running high 14s, low 15s... same track, same night...
Its practice man!! I like that you have done what you (kinda) can to get more power and be p plate friendly, but your car is not that great. I don't care about the body, suspension etc etc. I just saying its not that great... (neither is mine for that matter)
My old motor had 7kw more than you (so like frick all) and 80nm less and I was doing consistent 13.6/13.5 (13.444 being my best) once I "figured it all out". I started with 3 14.x passes before I managed a 13.9. It was 8 before I broke 100mph. I would regularly kick the ass of WRX owners, who if had more practice would be running high 12's
Good on you for getting out there and having legal fun, but just remember, spouting crap like "turbo beating n/a" when you scrape in a 13 (congrats btw) is going to do 1 thing.. make people think you're a prat
/rant
PS, Nik, I wanna be in the country again. Perth drivers during peak hours *nnnnngggghhhhhhhhhhhraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa*

I have to agree with Richo here. (Who said it ever so eloquently and diplomatically.... something I'm good at.....HAHAHHAHHAHAHAA)
Congrats and all, but this is where you loose friends Tristan.
Big noting yourself.
Don't.

It is very cold tonight...gah, I hate the winter! Its freezing here! Just had a few games of squash with the old fella and whilst working up a sweat on the court, it disappeared instantly as soon as i walked outside!
So the long w/e is nearly upon us - anyone doing anything particularly interesting?

Was good to catch up again mate. Giving you a lift around town was the least I could do for the great hospitality provided. Was a pleasure to have you around mate, thanks for the chauffeur action today. Will not be forgotten.

Last time i went to a 21st me and my best mate, got, you could say.... smashed.
We left at separate times because he got kicked out of a night club, anyway this is how we found him:

Passed out infront of my house, half in his ute. (he even had a mattress!!)
Good times, good times.

Looks good Eric. Like the silver and the stock wheels.
A mate just bought an 2002 530i (not the M sport).
Cost him $28,000(about 20,000 euro. Nice car.
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

I'm not good at this whole "living at home by myself" thing.
Sausages that where in the freezer; do i put them in the microwave to defrost?
I feel like a BBQ tonight.
Bit late now, but for what it's worth you don't have to defrost sausages or beef or pig. Just use lower heat to start with.
Well, think I've got my intake duct sorted... after a rethink, I decided to have a go at plugging it up as was only a 2nd return line anyway (that I was originally gonna just cap off anyway). Got a hacksaw blade in there and cut it off almost flush with the duct, had a look and the actual hole into the duct was only bout 5mm (inside a 12mm hose fitting). I managed to get a small bolt (thread was just biting into hole) into it coated it with silicone gasket maker and screwed it in.
So, all lines are run, can is in, just need to get a new hose for between the PCV and manifold as the old one was leaking cause it was too hard (was that hard that when I was looking at it after I got it off it snapped rather than bending) then put the IC back on and I'm done.
