Bloody old lady in BMW this morning on the freeway.
I was cruising at ~115 on the way to work in the fast lane.
BMW changes lanes infront of me and managed to slow to ~100. Not overtaking anyone.
There were cars to my left so i couldnt overtake her for a km or 2.
When there eventualy was space i gave her a few secs to figure it out for herself but nope. Not a clue.
Exactly what Skaifey was talking about.

Morning all

Sucks.

I will high beam only if cut off. Usually gets them out of the way. Otherwise I just sit back and relax...I'm too laid back to get frustrated :)

You could experiment with something though - if stuck behind a lane hogger again, turn your right indicator on and keep it on. Sometimes the lane hoggers get the hint and move over. Its a bit of a European trick that, where they've got AutoBahns/autostradas.

Yesterday driving down a 2-lane road, I was in the right lane and up ahead the left lane was closed. Was driving pretty slow (because people don't know how to merge) and it was medium'ly rainy.

I let the Rodeo in front of me in - he rolled down his window (in the rain) and stuck his whole arm to the elbow out the window and gave me a thanks wave...then did his window up.

Thanks Mr Holden Rodeo, if only everyone was that nice.

That is nice when people do that.

What isn't nice is when they think that by putting their hand out BEFORE making the lane-change, they're somewhat 'entitled' to that spot. I once had a cabbie do that premature wave on me...but he had WHITE GLOVES on. Very gentlemanly, I had to let him through obviously.

Weird story for the day.

A German student created a major traffic jam in Bavaria when he made a rude gesture at a group of Hells Angels, hurled a puppy at them and then escaped on a stolen bulldozer.

Interesting Shiv. That is probably why this guy has it on...
I fear that in Aus, if they dont notice highbeams they will not notice blinkers. If they do, they will probably think, "what douche leaves their blinker on when going straight"

Read that this morning Niko, we had a good office chuckle and though exactly what you are implying.

Oh no I swear there were terrorists there...how were we to know the ground was spewing out every valuable mineral known to man

No real surprise there guys.. If they found a huge deposit of oil in the middle of Ireland, we would deemed a threat to security and be invadedPosted Image

As Clarkson said on TG a while back, the size of a persons wallet does not reflect on their driving skills, or lack of. Some of the wrecked cars on that site will bring a tear to your eye
