I think the Hunter/Maitland area because I do recall him saying he might attend that cruise to the Hunter we didn't attend.

But anyway, I'm looking at dealer cars only. Reason why? I like to play this game which involves making the dealer hate me as much as possible by the end of the 3-month warranty period :P Plus dealers have a true appreciation for what their cars are worth, regardless of what they advertise them at. Private sellers are often foolish into thinking they can sell their cars for x-dollars, when in fact they can't.

I'm just looking at the results of my 2006 NRMA inspection on my RX and just how much stuff I claimed on warranty. I distinctly remember getting the phone call from the dealer expressing his frustration at all the things that I was trying to claim on warranty. But because they were technically things that *could* affect the cars road-worthiness/safety, he had no choice but to sort it all out.

Whilst I've got you on the interwebs Morgs - honestly, what do you think of the suspension on the OBK compared to the RX? Initially I was thinking I'll buy an Outback and chuck billies on it. But for what they are (heavy + raised), they hold the road commendably well. Plus, if I get an OBK, it gives me the option to do some light soft-roading. Something my RX was obviously unsuitable for. Fun times ahead I think!

Big Fish wouldn't shoot nobody :P He's got that relaxed demeanor to him. Have you seen that pic of him at work?

Ive seen his licence pic and hes got some wicked sus upper lip fur going on... I really like the OBK susp Shiv. It holds very well for what its carrying. I might eventually put it on some lowered Pedders or something to get it a bit lower but firmness is perfect as far as im concerned. My mate who has an SF Foz with dead stock everything loves driving my car around our area because as you are aware, we have a plague of roundabouts. The Foz rolls around everywhere and he has to hold on for dear life if he's in a hurry. No probs in the OBK. For a similar heighted car (susp-wise) there are worlds of difference.

Thats interesting that a Foz is less capable of containing body roll compared with a OBK. You'd think it'd be a tighter drive, what with it being based on the Impreza.

Once I get my Outback, we'll def have to go off the black stuff and get those wheels spinning :D I wonder if OzFoz host any softroading events we could chime in on...

Fair call. I guess the Foz is that much more top heavy. Susp-wise its about the same as the gen3 OBK but the chassis is much taller.
The newer Foz's are much stiffer - the SF is very wallowy

Just had the pleasure of a fuel pump failure just on dark last night in the foz. One call to a mate with a bugeye sti wreck and ghetto swap. I think it had been dying for a while as the car runs smoother now, less power but revs up more and does not hesitate under WOT in top. Thats probably what killed the plugs 6 months ago. Dave also gave me his outback oem wheels with new tyres. Legend. Saves me money. Outback wheels on a GT. Its a first I think. Handles like shit though but will get me over the alps for my road trip. Also Alex Dave is mounting that GT37? soon. Front mount already fitted. You guys ask him on thursday night at the Garage cafe.

LFA is sokay - but it doesn't excite me.. still a bit boring Toyota like. For the cost involved and the performance at hand I think its un-inspired looks wise
