Hi all,

Was away recently and came home to a flat battery on my 2006 Tribeca. Charged the battery back up, but now the sat nav won't boot up, i keep getting a message saying

Error: System unable to access the program, please insert the proper disc

The original disc is inserted in the drive, i have tried taking the disc out and putting it in again, and pushing the reset button, but always comes up with the same error. The disc drive is under the front passenger seat, it's a Kenwood system.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried contacting a dealer about it?

There's probably some funky button sequence that goes with the reload. If there is a dealer should be able to help you out with it ;)

Cheers

It might need a software update,

get the dealer to check it out.
