I check the wiring which seems good with continuity. And then I was checking the ohms on the camshaft sensor but unfortunately I can’t find online the correct ohms for our sensor. Hoping some one here maybe able to help me. Was going to the extreme that maybe my timing belt but what is the ohms for a new camshaft sensor for a 2002 Subaru twin turbo ej208

Had the same thing come up on mine a few months back. Took it to the local mechanics, diagnosed as a failed alternator. Was on the original - had done ~190k. Apparently quite common

I know of at least 2 times the end fix for this code after months of drama was to replace the alternator.

Oh really!!!!! Alternator????? Doesn’t that have it own code. Why telling me camshaft sensor if it’s the alternator. So weird.

Don’t believe it.....you too. Thanks so much. Will have the alternator check by the battery shop in the morning.

Yep indeed it was my alternator. I took to my electrician and ask him specifically check it and he had a special tool to check it with and he found out it that my alternator was indeed faulty. He ask me how I know I told him you guys. Thank you. Cut the long story short I ordered the parts and had them installed and boom not only the cam shaft error gone but that other code p1241 has also disappeared for the first time ever. Thank you again guys
