I've put some cylinder head cleaner through a few of the lines, havn't taken the black box off or sprayed a lot into it, but i did get a bit of black come out of one of them. Since then not much has changed. :scratch_one-s_head: Another thought might be the BOV. it's just the stock one at the moment, i know it leaks a bit but what would the car do if say the spring was stuffed and it had a massive leak. Theres no leaking noise but it just feels like it doesn't want to changover until very high revs because the boost is usually about 5psi under what it should be.

In limp mode the car will not boost over 7-8 PSI

Pretty sure the bit he's talking bout is at the front of the engine down the bottom, would assume it's one of the flange bolts (?).

That's the up-pipe for the 2ndry, there's a pipe that joins the headers that runs along the front of the engine 1st post 2nd pic can just see it right down the bottom

They said the bolt wasn't there. I have had the secondary up pipe changed some time ago, so the mechanic may have had brain fade and not put the extra bolt on. I havn't looked, and probably wont look, and long as it works and doesn't make funny noises :D

Yeah it's partly cos i'm lazy that it's taken so long, it's not a daily now so only annoyed me on the weekends. It was a few pounds escaping, being a b4 boost is sometimes different to the last time you press the gas. But it's generally about 3 to 4 pound up from what it was. Now that i've figured it out, i'm painting the FMIC black to help avoid getting epa'd again, putting it back on the car. Then planning on selling it before moving onto a Gen 4 in a year or so. At the moment the new unit comes first <_< Maybe a in a month or so it might be on the market if anyones interested. ;)
