in case you were wondering what a gen2 looked like with them....

one coat:



the photos taken in evening light, so they look darker than they actually were... the general consensus was to do another coat...

two coats:

Looks different. Is that lower lip on the back bar black...ish or just in shadow? 2 coats really look super dark, does it look darker in the photo ?

it's pretty dark, but you can still see the brakes and indicators in direct sun... so... yeh *shrug* and the lip is supposed to be black, but isn't for some reason... possibly the last thing i need to fix on my car visually, other than tint...

At least now when someone runs up the back of you because they cant see your brake lights they will get their car fixed from your insurance (id asume) Pointless mod... shoulda sprayed your whole boot black.

Waaaaaaaay too dark IMO. Looks wise and legal wise.

sounds ridiculous but one of the things that the RTA has asked to be cracked down on is the colour in indicators, if they are faded or discoloured you need to fix em.

Have fun cleaning it all off with Acetone, that's what i did. And Bullshit that's 2 coats! 2 coats of nightshades is hardly noticeable!

from seeing what 1 and 2 coats is i personally would have liked 1/2 a coat but aslong as your happy thats all that matters

funny thing... got pulled over by the cops (asking about exhaust volume)... i gave him my engineers report, he read it and said "get those tinted tail lights added to the report or you could get defected for them next time. otherwise good on you for having an engineers report, cya..." so... yeh... probably gonna take off the tint and try to do like half a coat (one light coat) or something so they're marginally darker but not crazy (illegal) dark... shame though, because i liked them dark...
