Timed a 1:17ish in a slower session later in the day so it was alright Considering the brakes boiled in the first session and it was only boosting to 1.2bar not 1.4-5ish. My mate could still have pushed it a bit harder too.


It's got a forged 2.5L bottom end, EL headers, turboXS 3" TBE to a 2.5" diffback, silicon intake, and ported stock turbo, it made 225kw@w with an MSR tune, on his dyno. Micheal was pretty confident with a decent turbo and intake it could make 270kw@w :) Unfortunatly my mate will be selling it to fund his eurotrip.

aw sweet same mods as mine only i have no forgies as of yet, and porting ill be getting a new turbo before i port it :)

sucks he is selling there awesome cars and 270kw would be nice

hopefully i can head out next time

Yeah, he'll back back in another turbo subaru though.

I've got a few things to add to my car before i go back, so i mighten get back out till early-mid juneish. And that'll be the last time my car see's the track in my ownership anyway.

devo, would have loved to have come down again...

my engine is half assembled on the stand at the moment with plans to have it dropped back in Thursday so, fingers crossed, i'll have the unicorn for the next wakefield session.

we should pick a date and try and get a bunch of us from SC to go down.

Sounds good about your engine, hopefully it all goes well, I'm looking at buying some coilovers in the next week or two, so around the end of may or mid june would work well for me. After that i should have BOOOST :yahoo:

Be nice to get a few more Subyclubers down there :)

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

I'm pretty flat out until the middle of next month. And then any day should suit me. But deffo keen for a run :) hopefully get another day out of my slicks
