You are always quick stepping on the faggottree my dude, much love to you because you're in it to win it on here and getting involved and ****, but me saying I'm hoping my mate comes round to try some special beers is not an invitation for your homosexual innuendo based commentary to flare up like a rash on a 14 year old rockingham girl.

Feel me, B?

Beach puhlease!!

Relax, inciting phaggotry is what gets me through the day. Real world kid like yourself can bear it.

My notes are your notes homie, whatever you want to know.

Asking me about grain at this stage might make my head essplooodde!

But, what do you want to know? Seriously. I would just advise doing a full pale malt ale with maybe a small wheat addition, possibly a small special add like Melanoiden if you wanted that American pale feel.

Focus on hop additions and extract at this stage. Most PA's will be an 85% extraction rate .... ahhhh skillionairerules it, listen to me. Ask me a question, otherwise I'll just ramble.

:D thanks brew :D that is the sort of info I wanted :D

Ever used Crystal malt? it seems to give off a nice colour - don't know much more than that though.

I should stop asking you these Q's now anyways hehe you would have had enough today.

Crystal malt is great for colour but you have to be careful about conversion rates because the essentially hold caramelised sugars on the grain which can create betaglucans which will mean you can end up with an overly gummy wort extract, problematic during transfer. If you can create sufficient betaglucanase enzymes to break down the betaglucan then you will be fine, but that would be difficult on a small concern.

Honestly though, none of this really will be relevant to half mash grain brewing in yo kitchen (no diss! much love).
