hahaha nice.

also this is not so nice

"Residents in Sydney have been warned to prepare for strong winds, with gusts up to 100km/h.

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe weather warning for south-eastern NSW today, predicting blizzards and gale force winds.

Residents in Sydney, Canberra, Newcastle and Wollongong will be affected, along with the Hunter, Illawarra, Snowy Mountains, south coast, southern and central tablelands.

Blizzard conditions are expected in the ACT and the Snowy Mountains.

A State Emergency Services spokeswoman said strong winds of 65km/h and peak gusts of up to 100km/h were forecast.

The SES is advising people to secure loose items around homes and businesses."

This is bullshit.

I get harassed by charity in Brookvale. I walk outside the bank in Nth Syd, and get bombed by Red Cross asking me to setup a direct debit to help underfed kids.

I say no, take 2 steps, then get asked by Unicef to pretty much hand over my wallet.

This kinda shit makes me never want to support charity again.

Also - No wind in Nth Sydney

I am about to walk to my PO Box, On this journy I will be asked several times "for a dolla or a smoke bruz" and then bombarded by red cross, oxfam or save the children....... pisses me off to no end.

Morning gents,

I'm currently in the hunt for a new vehicle after the previous gen 2 GT-B i bought turned out to have a few issues with paperwork etc. so i backed out of the deal. I haven't owned a car since March.

I'm after some thoughts on what i should try and buy. I know this is a Subaru forum and opinions may/may not be biased, but i am open to suggestions of any make/model.

My requirements are:
- small to medium size
- good on fuel over long distance and reasonable around town
- priced between $10k-$15k
- manual
- easy/cheap maintenance
- >2001
- ideally be able to get onto a skidpan/track a few times a year and still be able to drive to work/uni the next day. More for fun than being the fastest

I have considered small 2L euro hatches, although sometimes reliability/maintence costs seem to not be too great. I have owned 3/4 Subarus already so brand loyalty doesn't bother me. I've thought about aother forester, but not really sure i want another TBH.

/CSB TL;DR
you just read my sig

Coming back in just now... two aboriginal dudes kneeling beside this new Audi out front.. I thought hmm suss... walked literally 10m more to the entrance of my building and I heard BANG BANG SMASH, fuckers smashed the dudes windows grabbed something and piss bolted.

Just went and had a chat to the owner, they got his wallet.. he had sat it on his passengers seat for a sec while he ran to a small caffee (assuming he had some pocket change and threw his wallet on the seat not thinking about it)

Damn...

Inner city. Broad daylight. Not good that these things can happen :(

I've gotta admit I leave way too much crap in my car

Also, i HATE dealing with Salesmen.

I bent over backwards to get this ***** loan approved, and now he is coming back to me saying that he can get a better rate at CBA, then what i have offered him.

So i ask him for proof on a CBA letterhead. Refuses to provide it.

Go fsck yourself mate. You havent got a better rate then what i gave you, so stop trying to sell bullshit to me.

Just went to the local auto shop to ask about removing the oil filter.

He even said to pay someone else to do it. LOL
