LOL Nik, gobi desert call was one of the funniest things I have read in a while, genuinely! LOL

Tax is done for another year :D I love this accountant, finds so many things to write off and for the first time in three years I am getting a re-fund :D WOHOOOOO!! hehe.

Also I'm a bit pissed off that I found out I am paying some gay extra tax of like 1.5% or something for not having private health cover.... anyone know how the skillionairerules I get private health cover? sounds annoying, dudes told me to make sure I have it this year... what's a good one?

NukeNik, her voice is like listening to long finger nails screech down a chalk board while cramming razor wire into ones ears.

Josh.

Goto MBF or HCF or whatever and get their most basic cover to avoid the tax.

Or if you actually want health cover, get their good cover.

HIF have a plan pretty much aimed at lowering your tax payment - try them first. Not sure about the quality of the cover, but pretty sure it will be the cheaper option.

At 1.5% on the 80K you must be earning by now with all the hours you do, you're looking at $1200 - you should be able to get a pretty good cover for around $700/a so it is genuinely worth looking into.

Although, when push comes to shove - public health system is still a shit tonne better than private, you might get nicer curtains and a choice between which shit you'll be eating...

I don't know what WA health is like, but east coast public health systems are FCUKED!!!

I'm pretty sure Australian Unity is a decent pick, also MBF and NIB.

I should have put a big personal experience only on that comment. Impossible to pretend I know what goes on in every hospital across the land.

I went from a 4 pax ward to a single room (like a BO$$) when I moved from private to gov. system. Private said my cover was 4 days overdue - so they wheeled me across to the public hossie - got looked after by legends, didn't care if I had a beer, etc. etc.

Also, WAY more giving on the PK's.

I'm on private for most procedures, and it's awesome, but it's obviously different treatment for us, as I don't have an insurer, just Govt.

We get treated at private clinics, get all the extras thrown in, than for rehab we go to base hospital which is the same as public hospital except you probably know the guy next to you, and it's all relaxed.

I just don't trust public health's doctors. Namely because of the amount of cases where QLD and NSW health have hired doctors who aren't doctors.

It's spit roast night :)

Is this the night you invite a mate around and then you and him and KT....well....you know where this is going.

Car is much faster. on 12psi :(

Boost gauge is at post office, so 9am tomorrow i will be kicking their door down to pick up my gauge and turn the boost controller upto 20.

Also, Walbro is noisy as skillionairerules.

I'm going to have to agree with Alexwski. The only case i've ever heard of was that indian bloke in the NT or whatever that was practising medicine without a license or some shit.

Word of experience:

Don't turn up boost to 20psi.

Wind it up on increments for weeks at a time. So now wind it up to 15-16psi.

Leave it for a couple of weeks.

Wind it up to 18psi.

And leave it on that.

leave a little leeway for boost creep for lower temps. (ie 2psi)

else.... BHG.

and that's painful.

Alex I know heaps of great health professionals in the public sector, and I'm sure they are a1.

But certain.....nationalities....tend to have a lower understanding of what 'Doctor' is.

Each nationality has their dickheads.

But its perfectly fine to take a narrow minded and blinkered opinion of a sensationalist tabloid newspaper, and not of somebody who has to deal with doctors first hand on an average 10 hours a day.
