Interesting about that satellite re entering. We were at a BBQ with friends last night, and I spotted a satellite. I made the comment to Vicky that it was In a really low orbit because it was so visible and bright. I wonder if it was that particular satellite?

No idea my dude, no idea. I thought they'd be showing us some sort of 'flight path' or 'crash path' as it were. Sometimes I think they are cloak and dagger about things to keep the crazies crazy?

NASA estimates the debris footprint will be about 500 miles long.

If you find something you think may be a piece of UARS, do not touch it. Contact a local law enforcement official for assistance.

As for the storm, it HOWLED down last night and is still putting on a bit of a show. No real wind like you're describing though.

Also. Forgot this.

HOW? Did I forget this.

Water. I'll be running a full cycle next week to make distilled water.

It was hugs and shit after we realised it was working. Insane. Seriously this has been such a mammoth task that has consumed my spare time for nearly two years.

Just to boil some water in it was an occasion.

Need to get a couple of ball valves in-lined and shit, but nothing major now. It's so on.

Won't be putting any alcohol wash through until I'm confident with distilled water runs.

Morning all.

Just past port Macquarie. 500kms to go till QLD.

Left Newport at 7am, so not bad timing. Does anyone know if those average speed cameras do cars as well as trucks?

Morning Shaz.

I would say all vehicles. After all they are for safety, not revenue. :P

Take it easy dude.

Yeah, I mean I'm not doing 200 or anything. But the only thing that confused me was that they specified trucks on the sign and was just curious.

The missus is driving now, and she doesn't speed so all is well then. Pretty bloody hot outside today, especially in the middle of the sticks.

Nah Shaz, those cameras are for trucks only. Not many people know that. I really hate the ones going to Bathurst because the speed limit is quite slow for the type of road you travel on....

Have a safe trip BTW. What are you going up there for?
