Just watched that game. CC put on a good display. Amini should have been in the gamel longer than what he was though. Made a real impact when he came on.
Was an exciting game, just a shame there were no goals...

Sure was mate! Should've heard the roar when Amini came on! Hectic.

The yellow card in the 12th minute was a bad move by Fabio. EVERY time he got the ball from then on he got boo'd. Soo funny!!

Walts. Don't be dissing football.. You play AFL

I thought both teams right backs had terrible games, and the Melbourne keeper was incredibly lucky not to have conceded.
And yeah I heard the boos every time old mate got the ball.

Liverpool mate... Was Leeds until they got relegated.
Do you have a team?

Yep same as me, but then when Kewell went to Liverpool, and Leeds got relegated I swapped to L'pool because of Kewell and followed them since!
Stupid international weekend. Would be up watching the EPL...will have to settle for Sydney v Perth..

I haven't watched any A league in years. It used to frustrate me with the lack of talent compared with European football. A lot has changed though. Are the games good? Good levels of skill?
My brother in law is an avid Liverpool supporter. But he grew up just outside of Liverpool. Liverpool do have one of the most remarkable players from the modern era. Stevie Gerard! Freaking legend. Wish he played for Stoke hahaha. Would be awesome if one of the A league teams could lure him down here when he's finished playing euro footy.

Sig worthy.

There is nothing like Eurpoean Football but I love having a local league to follow.

Sig worthy.

Gerrard is easily my favorite player.
A-League is poor, especially when Gold Coast is playing. I went to 3 GC games last season, all but one of which had less than 2000 spectators. The other one was when the GCU owner gave out free tickets, but the game only lasted 21 minutes due to bad weather. We made the 5 or so hour trip up and back to the Goldy for 21 minutes of football.... :/
I enjoy how Brisbane Roar play, just wish mor teams played to the standard they do.

Me and a good mate of mine (both avid Liverpool and football supporters), are extremely keen to get to a few more A-League games.
Will let you know if ever we get down to the Coast for a game. Usually well go up to te gold coast or even Brisbane, but would like to see a Sydney match.
