I think it works pretty well. I don't like that they have no security integrated with it.
The next generation of paying for shit will be in NFC (near field communication) that's starting to be built into new mobile phones. Same principal as the way-pay things but attached to your mobile, I would assume there is some app or some authentication required on the phone before it allows funds to transfer. Just one extra step of security.
Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Not secure? But theoretically it is not impossible? just sounds pretty un-secure to me.
I reckon I could fit a club lock into your face rather securely.

LOL, no doubt, but I would prefer not to have your club lock in my face. Not secure?

But on a real note, is there absolutely no security on these things in the event that some low life vagina-hater does steal someones card? Other than to ring and cancel once you notice it gone.

So basically, if your shit gets compromised, the bank refunds whatever was taken, then the bank gets reimbursed by visa.
Also, in terms of security, it was found that over 70% of card fraud happens when you physically hand your card over to a merchant. As the paypass thing allows you to keep your card in your possesion at point of sale, its less likely to have fraud operated on the card.
True story.
Josh - Card in the mail for you.
I think you'll be very surprised when it arrives.
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. You'd be met with a club lock to the face at 240km/h if you tried with mine.
This made I controllable laugh. I don't know why. It just hit the funny spot!
