Maybe its not the tyre width, but the motor delivering 10000000hp to them thats causing them to wear faster?
B4's work fine on 215's....
The Shelby engineers could learn a thing or two from studying a B4.
Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

I'll try and find the quote, but it was from one of the Shelby engineers, so I don't think they base statements on what they Google....

The BRZ Concept-STI has been revealed in the metal at the Los Angeles motor show, and it is fitted with the same 2.0-litre direct injection "boxer" engine - which is expected to produce about 147kW of power and 205Nm of torque - as the entry-level model.
The prospect of an STI without extra power is unlikely to warm the hearts of the WRX faithful, who are used to a strict diet of turbocharged rocket ships from Subaru's performance division.
Subaru continues to pour cold water on speculation that its new sports coupe, co-developed with Toyota, will have a high-performance variant, and it is believed that the engine layout - which has been positioned low and further back in the engine bay to help lower the car's centre of gravity - means there will never be space for a turbo or front-wheel-drive mechanicals.

Next they'll have glowing water bottles in the centre console.
The only good thing they did regarding centre consoles was making the GenV able to cradle a longneck bottle.
