Its more the missus then me fellas.

I can give up, no worries. Have done it before. But she hasn't.

And when she gets on it, i get on it. Its a terrible circle.

I know, excuses, excuses, etc etc.

Don't go blaming the missus.

She's he own entity unto herself, as you are yourself.

The fact that you can "give up, no worries" anytime, I know for a fact, that, it's the biggest and most popular excuse in the book.

I challenge you.

Quit.

Do it.

I DARE YOU!

Yeah, cones are bad.

Went to an engagement party on Saturday night, some good friends of mine finally decided that hanging around with each other wasn't enough, and necked up and decided to get married. (they are boy and girl... in case you're wondering)

Fantastic night.

Except.

Caught up with one of my best mates from junior high. Stayed good friends with him since, except that I've lost contact with him for over a year, when he went "postal". He tried to kill his ex girlfriend with a knife. Bloke was charged, and blah blah blah.

Back in the day, I'd kick back with him with a cone or two. But drew the line when he started to smoke other stuff too.

Shit became hectic when he started to take antidepressants, along with the cones, crack, and goodness knows what else.

He spent half a year in a mental institution, and is on various medications. Poor bloke can't even conduct a normal conversation... he'd interject midway with some of the most random, irrelevant and inappropriate of statements.

Made me feel bad.

Stay away from the bad stuff, kids.

Similar story with an aquaintance of mine.
Various drugs, in and out of mental institutions.

Dead from an overdose in his mid twenties.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

This is relevant to my interests.

Made me think of that guy at my placement who smoked up 3 packets a day.

Isn't saying " I've quit before" a bit of an oxymoron. If you've quit "before" then you haven't actually quit.

@alex - that no grains, starches diet is pretty amazing. My mrs started on it a couple of months back and she's dropped 7 kg. There hasn't been a massive change to our eating really either. I still have pasta and stuff at lunch, but I "need" the carbs still. Isn't it known as the Caveman diet? ( there's a more technical name, paelio or somthinorother).

Sig worthy.

If we can stop riding Shaz for a minute that'd be awesome.

@Tom: Thanks mate, I don't really care if she's got a public profile then it'd be fine by me, but she obviously doesn't - so that's her call.

If you can't find pictures of hot women on the internet without delving into someone you knows gene pool, you're not good at Google.

Thinking of going for breakfast beer.

h.t.men.

Oooo where?

I went to get myself a new set of tyres this morning. Went to local tyre shop and asked for " a set of 225/50R16 with 89 or higher load rating" the guys response was " the cheapest we have are blah blah blah "
It's sad that our society is programmed into the "cheapest" rather than what's best for our circumstance.
I said I wasn't actually after the cheapest and I think that actually baffled him.
Ended up going with some Kuhmos for about $140 each.

Sig worthy.

Dad found the same thing on the weekend. Needs new tyres for the Rex.

One bloke is like "you can pay through your nose for brand name tyres but we have some Rockstone's here which will do the same thing"

Neither of us have ever heard of them before. Googled them when he got home and of course they are one of the cheap korean tyres that you shouldn't ever touch.
