Iain only works 1 week a month... but in fairness to him, he definitely does more than 4 week's work during that period. I'm feeling pretty tired at the moment, so I'm thinking of taking a nap. I will still get paid, though. I haven't showered, I haven't gotten dressed and I've watched some porn... there's really only 1 line of work that I could be in to do all of these things... but I'm not on the dole.

BOOM! I'm a web developer.

But, in all seriousness, there are good times and bad times like all other jobs. You've got to produce results to deadlines and budgets. I've done my fair share of really late nights/early mornings without eating. Drinking 10 cups of coffee plus some Red Bull. Staring blankly at a screen for 2 hours debugging your code... only to realise you wrote ehco instead of echo.

At the moment, I've got a pretty good gig, but coming up to Christmas it won't be so much fun.
