We're pretty excited for the ten year bottle to arrive. Hoping to do some sort of gold foil'esque logo on it for the anniversary.

This is how excited we are;

@Marv: You're a beast mate. Cheers.

Have one of these;

Your choice.

Gentlemen, I have a serious questions for once.

A dude i know is going through some pretty heavy shit right now, and he is constantly stressing out. Its causing him to overreact to everything, he's constantly anxious and snaps at everything. Whenever anyone tries to help him, he tells everyone he's fine, but levels of stress that high is not okay. He isn't eating properly, not exercising and can't even really hold a conversation. And this is not the person he normally is. He doesn't take any drugs, and doesn't drink.

How do you approach that? I mean, I don't wanna just not say anything, and let him slowly deteriorate into a mental hospital or anything. Anyone have any suggestions for things I can do to help a brother out?

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Fun, fun, fun as usual

Well this past year has flown by hasn't it?
Things are really starting to get busy here so please remember if you are coming down in a group of eight or more give us a call on 08 9755 7458 so you don’t miss out on getting a spot at the bar for your tasting.
We would like to thank all our Friends of The Grove for another great year. We wish you a very merry and safe Christmas, and look forward to seeing you in 2012.

The Grovers
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
We have finally secured a Port decanter for the 2011 vintage. (this line should be bolded on the site – Marv)
As you can see in the photo, the stopper is different and fits the bottle beautifully. To celebrate our 10th port vintage, I am trying to organise a 10th anniversary print on the decanter.
The bottle should be ready for despatch in May 2012.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Oh My God... have you tried our new Butterscotch?!
We can deliver to you within a few days if you order online. Try pouring it over your Christmas pudding, or what about giving our Chai Tea Liqueur a try for another new experience? Yum!
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The House Ale is proving to be really popular. So popular, in fact, we now have six packs for $25.00. We can deliver to you within a few days if you order online. It is great tasting and unique to The Grove – you can’t get this beer anywhere else!
If you visit our café, have a Boring Beer. It's 4.8%, light in colour, fresh and easy drinking for summer. Not so Boring after all...
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Dont miss out – order NOW. (I removed an extra space – Marv)
www.thegrovevineyard.com.au

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Our new summer menu will be available as from 5th December.
Have a look on-line.
Brookie has a new refreshing cocktail for our summertime visitors. The “Brookstar” is a perfect summer blend of raspberry, rockmelon & lemon. Absolutely DELICIOUS.
Order at the Cafe Bar.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

If you like outdoor barbeques and lighting up the garden, we have some beautiful heart-shaped candle-holders to hang from the trees.
Order via email and we can have them delivered to you within a few days. Grab a few for a unique Christmas gift or those lazy summer barbeque days.
*Stay tuned for a new gifts section on our site soon

Two ways;

Punch him in the face (seriously)

Try and get him out of the house, even for an afternoon.

I'll tell you what I tell every single one of my mates, only help those that help themselves. Life's too short to live someone elses.

That's just me though, everyone is different.

Tough gig. You might have to either force him to see what's going on (by intervention with others, or by more serious means), or let him slip until he figures it out for himself.

Yeah, I'm well aware of the "you cant help someone that doesn't wanna be helped" scenario. Its just shithouse seeing a top bloke go through a rough trot like that and not being able to lend a hand.

Also, Shazbangalang, props to you for being a real mate. Whatever you do now, he'll probably arc up and throw it back in your face - but when he sorts his shit out, you'll be the one that he remembers was a real mate.

I awoke to a fantastic email this morning, gentlemen! It made my efforts seem so much more worthwhile.

However, I was misled. The bastards... the following is what I received shortly after the one above.

And here is the advertisement in question. I guess I can probably rewrite the last bit to appease him.

Damn I'm hungry.

Thinking of opening a cafe/coffee shop in about 10 years.

I think I'll be sick of a desk job by then.
