Think Morgan is talking a different 3d though

He might be referring to architectural or product design using autocad, those were made with autodesk 3dsmax. Its all basically the same shit, I have worked with most of the apps, my preference is 3dsmax for what I do. I love playing with the architectural stuff too

Rarely get to 3D now, other than a couple logo designs. Really should make something to brush up my skills.

If you've used Inventor, it is like someone has taken an exact copy of that program, breached copyright and have put their own name on it.

They're both amazing programs, but exactly the same. Which is handy, if you know one, you know the other.

Nar, I can't pick between them. Both have the same functions, Solidworks is a bit cheaper though and has built in stress analysis etc.
