TDs have a higher interest rate, less flexibility, and does not comPOUND.
Check out www.ubank.com.au
They have pretty good rates. Don't even bother with NAB. Our deposit rates are rubbish.
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

Adam, if you had 10K to play with you should smash it off your loan, you will probably lose more money in interest on the loan than you would gain on 10K in a bank. Depending on the size of your loan LOL.
This is a good idea!
Paying large chunks of your mortgage off at a time = winning

What's an offset account?
The interest earned on any money stored in your offset account, offsets interest on your mortgage account.
It's never the same rate, but it helps a bit.
