Feel free to wash and wax mine, Manyu. ;) Washed it the day before I went on holidays, found out my aunt drove it in the rain while I was gone, so she's dirty again. :(

Parts shouldn't be too expensive for it, surely. Hope to see it with more low and other mods soon. ;)

If I was that bothered I'd do mine over again cause it's just dirty as now lol
I keep both my keys with me, just so family doesn't touch it ehehe

That's the problem, they aren't really expensive, very tempting..
I've got better stuffs to buy before parts for my car though :)

Delivery takes too long, so nah lol

Anyway, did this to my grille today whilst having a runny nose.

Fogs aren't wired up, they're just there to fill up the blank space before I put in some mesh.

Soon enough it will be lowered.

Anyway, tiny point less updates
Parked at uni one day and a mate added this sticker

Cracked my passenger side door mirror not long ago, replacement is taken care of and will be replaced ASAP.

The today decide to to try and change the colour of the gauge cluster. Took apart almost everything I could, but was held back by the instrument cluster itself :L
I didn't know how to disconnect the speedo cable and there was another plug behind the cluster in the middle that was just refusing to budge. So gave up and put it back together.
Pointless pics

Anyone that knows anything about how to access the speedo cable, please post :)

Undo the bolts that hold the cluster in, pull forward a little, and reach around the back and disconnect from cluster.

Cheers,
Shazza

Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Haha nice paddock bashing

Your game doing it with the windows down! Much to vacuum afterwards? ;)

Lip looks cool but agree with Chris, buy a bag of black ties and that'll finish it off nicely

Anyway, decided to take the front end apart today as I noticed that the bumper wasn't sitting right and the head lights were kinda pushed backwards.
Not sure what happened, cause I don't see any new marks on the bumper as evidence for a car park incident. But it looks like someone carefully damaged it :L

How it was yesterday.

and clearly, the lower mounting points on the bumper were twisted/bent and the top mounts were almost sheared off :/
Left the car like that as I was too tired, will put it back tomorrow.

Haven't updated this thread in a while, still not much of an update.
CV Boot is still not fixed, high in priority now.
Mismatched mirror was cool at first, but was starting to get a bit annoying. Didn't have paint matched, so I thought about swapping the good coloured parts over.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Would've used the outer shell even, but didn't dare flexing the good mirror as much. Decided I'll get some paint mixed at a later date while painting the front lip.
This is how I left it lol

Posted Image

Got around to putting mesh inside the grille, but was still looking kinda bare. Made some more modifications to fit fake fog-lights back on. Much better haha

Posted Image

Posted Image

To anyone with experience with CV's. Here's how mine looks like. Wanted to ask if I just put the socket on and go ape on the breaker bar or is there anything else that I need to remove first?

Posted Image

And since the photos, washed the outside and put it in the garage. Will most probably go over it with a clay bar and wax it tomorrow.

to-do list 15.04.2012
  • Fix CV
  • Get Tyres on 16s
  • Get Wheel Alignment
  • Paint mirror(s)
  • Finish making DIY lip
