buying new suby, opinions?

i recently got in touch with a guy who wants to buy my gen1 and i'm looking to upgrade to a 1995 subaru liberty rallye and its in really good nick but 310,000 k's i know its a bit high but my car is at 326,000 so im not to worryed. what do you guys think the gen2 is at $3000 is it worth it, do they have problems or are they bad news? don't want to step into something to expensive.

why not the rallye? im upgrading from a gen1 fwd which im sick of understeering everywhere? what about a 4wd gx wagon?
all subaru's understeer. besides the new BRZ but that has a significant difference

and yes, they get heaps, ive had the navy one and the oil rig one about 5 times each on the last car i sold, im yet to get one on the impreza, ive only had a lowballing westy in shorts, bumb bag and nikes, and someone offer me a vu ute on 20' chromes and slamed.
