Hi lads,

I am looking into some new rims..
After something 18" so I can use my new tyres, and something a little wider so i get the wrapped? look.
My tyres are 245/40/18.

Would be looking at something similar to Lukes(bobby jimmy), maybe with a little dish?

Any suggestions or links would be handy.
Also an eoi on my rims for the moment.

Personally, I would be going with a Japanese spec rim like Volk or Work. It depends how much you want to spend and if you want new or used. How about some ce28n rims, 18 by 9.5inch wide and low offset, with some negative camber :)

I also quite like the Work s1 rims and reckon they would look sweet on a Lib Wagon but would be pretty heavy.

Haha get ready to pay through the nose for any of those wheels :P
How much do you want to spend Sam?

Hope on the Rota website, they've got a huge range of widths and offsets to choose from, and they're cheap too. *Waits for Rota haters to rear their ugly heads*

Copying sheppo with the grids lol

Yeah they will fit...luke uses the +38 with smaller width tread to get the stretched look

245 wouldnt look a bit stretched i reckon? Go 225 ;)

Get ready to roll and pull those gaurds ;)

Doesn't worry me if Sam (or anyone else) gets Grids - I wasn't the first to have them.
Maybe the first to have a weird teal colour thou...

How much you want to spend?

Any Rota's need to be 9" or bigger (that's what she said) to get concave.
Looked at Linea Corse and XXR too?

2002 Outback - it's gone...

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

Wow thanks for the links guys..

I would be looking to spend under a grand, as the more I save on rims, the more I have to put towards a new engine (yep, 90% sure I'm gonna stick a new one in).

Then I would paint them the colour of choice and everyone would be happy! :)

I'll bite :P I'd much rather find some second hand, quality rims for the same sort of price as rota's but that's just me. Work CR Kai's are a great price at the moment brand new. http://www.jdmconcep...tion-cr-kai-set
