if its the stock gearbox and diff its 4.44

you can check by just having a look at your gearbox code and typing it in google

Check the diff itself. It may have the ratio stamped on it.

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

No Subaru diff ever had their ratios stamped onto any housing. There may be a sticker, but most get washed or peel off.

Easiest way to check ratios is to jack up the car, have all four wheels off the ground.

Rotate the tail shaft once (i.e. 360 degrees, one complete revolution), and count the amount of revolutions a wheel makes.

If it makes just over four, it'll be 4.11:1. If it almost makes four and a half, it'll be 4.44:1.

havnt quiet munched it yet but i think the front diff on its way out! every time i turn it feels like its grabbing, ive replaced the front cv shalfs cos i thought they were shot but not the case!
so im replacing the gearbox to try and eliminate the problem!!!
