Dropped in on a friend yesterday arvo. Her Dad was just leaving in his resto'd E type V12. He's just spent nearly $70k over the last 3 years bringing it up to scratch. Looks nucking futs!

ARE YOU Posted Image'ing KIDDING ME!!!???!!!!!

This from a mechanic with expiriance.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha

Imagine walking up to your mechanic and getting that response.

Customer: Hi, my car is running a little rich. I've done a few things to try and improve it but nothing has helped so far. Can you suggest something?

Mechanic: Try shifting earlier.

There's a comPany in the UK that does modern engineering upgrades on older cars like the EType. New suspension geometry, new braking system, and I think even modern ecu and looms and stuff. Basically makes them like a modern car but with 60s style.

Sig worthy.

Is this @ the car links?

Cheap, Subaru Reliability, and bit bigger than a hatch or something like that for the roads i drive on.

Still just getting ideas. But that legacy is cool, but i would be worried about buying an import.

I know, wtf. unhelpful post is unhelpful, but i dont have enough guts to take a shot at him. so i did it in here haha!

Window switch panel is pretty out there. Maybe paint the ash tray to match???

Not much can be done to the interior of a gen 2 without goin Lebo spec.

This is my dream plan with my mini.

For some reason I read this as 'dreamu'....like a dreamy emu. Long legs, fluffy feathers and a big pretty tail.

Me: I've got this weird vibration when I go over 60km/h
Jovi: Try not to go over 60km/h. Try it, I bet it fixes it.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

still feels just a little too stock, lol. Anything i can do to the gauge cluster? were there any better looking ones that are plug and play?

All the window switches are silver, i didn't like them in wood grain :P
Next thing may be door trims. the grey is quite bland.
