You could like... get another Subaru? But honestly a Commodore is a pretty smart decision lol. I assume there isn't much choice up there?

I have been throwing up all the options in the last few days. Researching everything i can about maintenance and repairs of subaru vs commodore.

Came to the conclusion that if i can sell the lib to some poor Posted Image then i will buy a commo.

2002 VX II S, 5sp manual, is what i got my eye on.

oh and as for towing, I moved house using one of these and a 7x5 caged trailer that almost weighed the same as the car haha

Posted Image

Max power: 67.00 PS (49 kW or 66 HP) at 5800 Rev. per min. Max torque:
107.00 Nm (10.9 kgf-m or 78.9 ft.lbs) at 4000 Rev. per min.

It didn't really rev past 4k...

so towing a small car will be fiiiiiiiiiiiiiine.. as long as it legal :D

Hahaha, i bet that was fun to tow with! :P

This is the car in question. Will have to look around in townsville some time, see if there is something similar closer.

That was my intention. My mate just got a VY II S for $8500, was going to use that, haha.

I should buy that, it would pull chicks right? the good looking ones?
(Note VX is the last model of commodore i can actually fit in, in VY onward the clutch is to far away for my bad leg to push.)

E: Posted Image it im off to bed.

Just putting it out there... The replacement car im looking at is a Commonwhore... Basically, cheaper maintenance and repair. VX tho so not bogan spec, and i can nick parts from the parents car.

For opens i will still want a Rexy.

Nothing wrong with that if it does the job for you Rendoggydog.

Yup, full of tools.

I'm looking at towing a car with my 2.5 Gen 4.. I don't think it'll go well at all.

Auto or manual?

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?
