I love the seller's other items on that ad.... hahahaha

Those Alpine HU's are good though!

Haha I didnt even notice it had one. Score. The reason Im keen to check it out is because Im pretty sure it was previously owned by one of the mechanics that worked at diesel motors. His had the same charcoal/shadow chrome Calibra rims on it. Cant imagine thats a popular rim choice. Especially since the wheels were custom painted. If it is that Car, then i know its a good buy. Adam really looked after it, and did a lot of work getting it up to speed mechanically.

Sig worthy.

Dont get me started. hahaha Ive spent hours and hours polishing these since some retard at the body shop sprayed them with alkali based wheel cleaner. Spent another 2 hours on them this morning. Theyre almost like new again.
I really need to get them off the car and get into the barrels too. plus it'll give me the chance to polish up and seal his brake calipers again. The stock HSV 4 pots on the rear need it bad so that they kind of match the 997 Cup ones on the front.

well if this GSi checks out ok, $2k is a pretty good price considering mileage and its history. Im not going to offer him that much though. Im going in with $1800 on the spot, but only if its all tickety boo. Fortunately having had one of these cars before, i know what to look for. So i feel I have the upper hand.

Sig worthy.

YAY, motor isn't rooted.

Still hunting intermittent oil smell and shitty cold idle. Looks like oil from catch can drain, again #$%@#$%, and maybe need to take some fuel out of the cold start tuning.

Stuff goes here
