He should've bought an 09. So many upgrades between 08 and 09.

So much upgrade in price too.

This was a great deal in SA for the k's. Still boosts hard.
What were the upgrades apart from darker wheels and read brakes? Leather?

Yeah, the 18" Work KR's (I think that's what they're called) fit perfectly. Nice wide stance and don't scrub.

There was only 3 factory upgrades for the WRX. Leather, sunroof and satnav.

From memory, the 09's got a bigger turbo (VF52???), bigger swaybars, and other various suspension parts as well as a few aesthetic upgrades - dark wheels, red brakes, nicer grille, etc.

2010 saw bluetooth integration, more suspension upgrades and other minor engine tweaks.

2011 saw the wide body kit and more suspension upgrades to compensate for the wider track, different wheels and wheel sizes

2012 was basically the same as 2011 except a new headunit, new paint colours and I think new headlights....

I met up with Stu from OzFoz y'day after work and he was able to read it through his scangauge and the mechanics obviously found it with their very expensive code reading machine. They cleared it all up but mine doesn't read it at all...

Car's in SA are always around 2k more compared to VIC and NSW because of the smaller demand.
