Haha, that's actually exactly the reason. The area here was where a lot of them were pushed off cliffs and so forth, so they never returned and it didn't hold any significance to them because (one would assume) all the natives from this area were killed off.

Which, if I'm completely heartless - probably was a good move. Otherwise they'd be claiming all the best spots in Margaret River as their land!
