not sure if any of you sydney siders remember the Boral LPG explosion at Kingsford in 1990? i was at home in willoughby and remember i just happened to be looking south towards Kingsford (about 15kms) and seeing the whole sky change from night to yellow, then orange/red and fade out. i thought a 'ing UFO had landed (i had no internet or tv at that time). cool story

Yeah I live basically in Kingsford. I wasn't alive then, but my mum and dad still talk about it to this day. The dog they had, had a heart attack when he heard it and died.
