When I got my parks pass last year, some of the paper came off with the sticker, and I couldn't get it off.

Under the legislation, it is an offence for a person to use an unregistered vehicle on
a road or road-related area in most circumstances (except some vehicles that are
not required to be registered). Even if a vehicle has been registered, it is an
offence to use a registered vehicle without displaying a registration label, with an
obscured or defaced label, with an expired registration label, or with a label
showing the incorrect registration term. Where the vehicle’s driver is not the
person in whose name the vehicle is registered, penalties can also apply to the
registered operator in some circumstances if a label is not correctly displayed.
If a person drives a vehicle with a registration label fitted in a manner that does
not comply with any of these requirements, they have committed an offence and
are liable for a maximum court imposed fine of 20 penalty units (currently $2,200).
State Debt Recovery Office data indicates that more than 13,000 label offence
penalty notices were issued in the 2010-11 financial year. The penalty notice fine
amount is currently $88 for a light vehicle, and $530 for a heavy vehicle.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. They don't use it for that around here. Shiv's got a parking ticket on his Outback a few years ago and they said it was a Ssang Yong!
