I dunno how fast she was going, but it's a 100k road, but I don't know if she was slowing down for the intersection. She said a car was coming in the other direction so she didn't even see it!

I've done more damage hitting a roo doing about 35 than hitting one doing 100. Angle, size of roo, where it is I'm its hop pattern etc. Etc. If It's hopping towards you the impact is doubled.
