I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Nah it isn't so much that I am against marriage in its entirety (I don't view it as important!! Who knows perhaps one day I will marry)
But a ring is a liability over an asset, not just from the point of view that she could leave you.. I more mean in a sense that a ring is very easily lost/stolen/diamonds or any other gem you put in them can potentially fall out and be lost.

Because Katie's rings are so delicate, we've had a few diamonds fall out over the last 3 years. We were very unimpressed to say the least (the set is worth $5,500). Everything was fixed up free of charge though
