Yeah its not bad, its on about 100k now... he has to drive it as a daily for work. But I went for a ride in it. He thrashes it, red lines it all the time and it still runs fine. He comes from a well off family and doesn't really regard it as a 'nice' car, when in reality its nicer than most by a long way lol. He desperately wants a WRX next time round.

I want a car with under at least 80k next time round. Might be a long search and possibly a fly and pickup job but I am patient.

I'm not up on the A/B/C, etc variants but it's definitely a GD. Parts can usually be swapped between all GDs

I'm just looking at part costs. Suspension etc.

$15k might still be on the high side but 45k is damn low!!!



Mine was 13K when I got it about this time last year. Had 101K on it and just had the major service done.

Gotitrex still has some in stock. They were really good with the last lot i got off them.

Agree. Make a thread. I will answer this though -

WRX is lower than standard Impreza
STi is lower than WRX
STi is also the stiffest of the lot (hehe)
Getting STi gear will also mean you don't have to worry about whether it's out of a wagon or sedan.

As in my setup is out of an STi sedan (Scott's to be specific) and it doesn't have a saggy bum because it's much stiffer.

I can't justify putting coilovers on my car so I was thinking about just some lowered springs.
