Just got back from getting my refund. This morning he was full of excuses. Apparently he feels that the job should have been over a grand because the colour was too hard to match (for him) and the fittings were too brittle from the heat of the motor. You guys have seen the issues with it - that wasn't what I was angry at him for, it was the poor workmanship. He is also scared I am going to tarnish his name "you can't go showing other people my work, and saying its shit" LOL WTF BBQ, if it was of any kind of standard on my car we wouldn't be at this point. But anyway, back to square one, its booked in elsewhere for monday...
Maybe he should have quoted you more. His shoddy workmanship, was hardly your fault.
