Morgs, what made you want to do CAD stuff?
I drew a house in Excel about 6 months ago using lines and boxes.
Showed the Mrs and she said I should learn how to use the proper programs and do it for a living.
It's the first time something has been suggested to me where I haven't knocked it back immediately!
So here I am

Single income mortgage is gayer than gayAIDS. But head is above water, bills are being payed, cash being saved put aside, and sled gets lovings. So I'm happy.
I hear ya! we are like a 1.5 income mortgage. But also ours is probably smaller than yours aswell.
It is partially my jewishness stopping me spending on my car! Will bite the bullet next week

I can give you AutoCAD aswell, though it is 2007.
BUT you can also get the student copy for free if you get a tafe email (which you should get) The only problem is is gives you a watermark on your drawings.
Plus minimum wage in the industry is around $70k. Not too bad.
Aim a bit lower

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

I do, but working such insane hours and days have its advantages. One of them is having weekdays off. And I can work weekdays.

Damn, I swear, buying an iPad was probably one of the better things I have done this year. Nothing quite like pawning teh noobs whilst dropping the kids off at the pool.

Haha nah it actually worked alright. Used the line tool to make big boxes.
Eg. this is the office I work in. Drew it about 4 years ago when I was looking at the fire evac plan.

I can give you AutoCAD aswell, though it is 2007.
Do want!! Need a computer first but if you've got it, I'll take it!!!
Aim a bit lower
Unless you can get work for the mines. Then aim higher!
All jobs around here say negotiable salary between $60-80k. I averaged it.
$70K isn't a big wage, I think he should aim for that
have some good goals.
It's a heck of a lot more than I'm on now...

If my clientele are all anaethetised, then I'm all ears. You blokes complaining about lack of cash, should start your own part time businesses.
Perfect for when you need additional cashish for rocketsledding and the alike.
I hate having to deal with the greater general public. There's only so much I can cope with 'tards before pointing and laughing at them when they're under an anesthetic.

Lol! Just sell LED equipped chainsaws. I'm sure there is a special market for them.
