I won't be able to get on the road till Vicky gets home from work, which will probably be around 4:30. Unfortunately that puts me plum in the middle of the traffic heading south, so I doubt I'll be there much before 8:30.

Sig worthy.

The time when Lish got her new car and I was over there, Richo and Lish went in Lish's new car, they left like a micro second before us and all was well in the world, smooth sailing all the way home (though Nik suspected a they made a secret pitstop :P) Me and Nik who had left like 1/10th of a second later hit the traffic on the freeway thing that heads down south and it was like a forking carpark, added stupid amounts of travel time to the journey.

I have actually managed to grow a chilli plant from a store bought fruit, it was a thai red chilli, one of the small ones. I took the seeds out and dried them, planted a seed in some seed raising mix and away she went, I got a few chillies off it last year, but I planted it late in the season so it didn't get long before autumn hit and it started to go dorment, I pruned it right back, it has started to grow back real nice over the last few weeks though :D

That will do the trick. I don't know if the drying is essential to be honest, I just did it because I wasn't planting it right there and then.

I have planted some of the long style barely hot supermarket chilies this year as well, hopefully they grow :D I am hoping for some killer batches this year.

Thai Birdseye,
Supermarket long ones (not sure what variety they are)
Naga
Wild Desert Tepin
Jalapeno
Habanero
Cobra (Sri Lanken version of a ghost chilli)
Bhut Jolokia (ghost chilli, was recognised as the worlds hottest chilli)
Chocolate Jolokia
Trinidad Scorpian Butch T (now recognised as the worlds hottest chilli)
Aribibi Gusano (looks like a long white Posted Image'ing caterpiller)

Growing pretty much 2-3 of each plant, some are last years plants, others I have only just planted the seeds for. I has love for my chillies.
