Haha a bit like when I recent strapped on the inlines to skate to the train station. Apart from the inevitable stack (trying to sneak alongside a checkered manhole cover), I rubbed some massive blisters on the insides of my lower ankles.
I used to do quite a bit of aggressive street skating in my younger years. I freak out when I see some of the places we used to skate, knowing what we used to be able to do.

HA a few of me from the archives. North Sydney library circa 1995. Was used for a Manly Skateboards ad in Slam (this was back in the day when ollies over things we acceptable lol).
This was some shitty gap at my old school. if it had a straight run up it would have been good but the approach was parallel to the gap and between a bush and pole. i'm guessing this was around 1992/3.
fun fact: both photos were taken by Dean Hammer using my mums old SLR. Dean went on the become a senior photographer at ANZ Snowboard Magazine, Crank and contributor to Surfing Life, Tracks and Slam.
